Human Pheromones

Human pheromones are chemicals in the body that cause a certain response in other humans. Humans give off pheromones when they are excited, afraid or aroused. It is thought that these pheromones can be reproduced to exact a response from others, which is the basis for many colognes that are based on the scent of human pheromones.

While there is no substitute for actual attraction, which causes you to give off a scent of your own when you are attracted to another individual, the human pheromones that are contained in some colognes and perfumes do an excellent job of imitating these chemical reactions that are a natural part of life.
